This short walkthrough shows how to find your way around the Life Mapper Knowledge Platform — from the home page to the exact resource you need.
What you'll see
- Start from the home page. Browse the curated chapters, jump to the video tutorials, or type straight into the search box.
- Search across everything. The free-text search looks through every resource, tutorial and chapter at once — here we look for “marine”.
- Refine the results. Narrow what you find with the side filters: chapter, resource type, project and geographic area.
- Open a resource. Each result opens a detail page with its summary, media, tags and any downloadable files (PDF, CSV, datasets) and external links.
Good to know
- Search matches titles and full text, so a single keyword is usually enough to get started.
- Combine filters to zoom in — for example a resource type together with a geographic area.
- Everything on the platform is public: no account is needed to browse, search or download.
